Our summer art workshops invite kids to dive into hands-on creativity with a variety of materials and techniques. From painting and drawing to mixed media and sculpture, each class offers a fresh opportunity to explore, experiment, and express. Whether you're trying something new or building on your skills, these workshops are designed to inspire and engage all summer long.

After school art classes provide a creative outlet for kids to unwind, explore, and express themselves through art. Offered throughout the school year, these classes introduce a variety of materials and techniques. Whether your child is new to art or already loves to create, our supportive environment encourages imagination, skill-building, and artistic growth week after week.

The Kraft Drop is a series of one-time art experiences designed to offer something new with every session. These pop-up classes explore a range of creative techniques and each drop brings a fresh opportunity to try something fresh. Themes, materials, and pricing vary, so follow along to catch the next drop, you never know what might be coming next!

First Friday Creatives is a monthly drop-off art experience designed to give kids a creative outlet while parents enjoy a well-deserved break. Held on the first Friday of every month, each 3-hour session offers a new hands-on art project, encouraging creativity, confidence, and skill-building in a fun, relaxed studio environment. Perfect for artists ages 5 and up, this class is a budget-friendly alternative to our traditional workshops but with the same quality fun, at a reduced rate. Whether your child is a seasoned maker or just loves to experiment with new materials, First Friday Creatives is the perfect way to kick off the month with imagination, making and community!

Biography

"Building creative confidence through community and exploration"

With nearly two decades of experience in the classroom, I am a passionate and dedicated art educator who believes in nurturing both the artistic and personal growth of every child. My teaching journey has taken me through a variety of school settings from public to private independent institutions. I currently serve as the elementary art teacher at Cranbrook's Brookside School, where I am proud to help young artists explore their creativity.

Throughout my career, I've been guided by the belief that children need more than just technical instruction, they also need a safe and vibrant space where they can take creative risks, express themselves freely, and develop confidence through their art. I strive to create a classroom that feels like a community: a place where collaboration, curiosity, and joy are central to the learning process.

My hope is that Kraft Creative Studio will extend this mission beyond the traditional classroom by offering a welcoming space for children and adults to explore art. Through Kraft, I aim to provide a creative space where young artists especially feel empowered to take risks, build community, and thrive through meaningful, hands-on art experiences. Whether through classes, workshops, or community events, Kraft is about giving kids and adults alike the tools, time, and encouragement they need to grow as confident, expressive and imaginative individuals. Kraft is not just about offering art classes but developing a hub for community and connection.
